We were made to feel very welcome. The reception staff were absolutely lovely - funny and warm yet highly professional. I would happily recommend Waterford Marina to other families travelling with small children.

Local Activities for Children
We are straight across the road from the Peoples Park which has extensive playing areas for children of all ages, large green areas for kicking football or playing rounders, nice water feature with paths to stroll around.
The Waterford Museum of Treasures is a great place to visit during your stay in Waterford City plus a visit to the 13th Century Reginalds Tower which has been restored and now houses an exhibition, will help you and your family to enjoy your experience.
Kids Zone in Ardkeen is a 10minute drive with indoor adventures, bowling and pool tables. The fantastic beaches of Tramore, Dunmore East and Annestown are all within a 15 minute drive. The Waterford Crystal Swimming Pool is 10 minutes drive on the Cork road or the waves of 'Splashworld' and the Pirates adventures, Freedom and Oceanics Surf School, Tramore Adventure Centre plus Laser Blast and Run a Muc all in Tramore which is only 15 minutes away. Also the Copper Coast Mini Farm in Fenor features a pet farm which is a worthwhile 30 minute drive down the coast road. The Commeragh Mountains and the Copper Coast Geo Park are both within driving distance and are a both fabulous no expense visitor attactions of the county.
