With almost 150km of Coastline and some 49 beaches dotted along you are spoiled for choice when it comes t beaches and swimming. Waterford City is located close to some of the best beaches and seaside towns in Ireland such as Tramore, Dunmore East and Woodstown. There are also many smaller beaches along the coastal drive to Dunagravan and on to Ardmore right down to Youghal. For the sea swimmers there are also some great ploaces such as the Guillamene & Newtown coves in Tramore and Portally in Dunmore East.
