The refurbished and rebranded bar “The 1843 Bar” acknowledging the Neptune Shipyard established on the site of the hotel, Canada Street in 1843.

The 1843 Bar is spacious, comfortable, and designed to suit every occasion. Our Bar Food Menu offers a wide and varied range of snacks and meals from 12.30pm to 9pm daily.

Our wide screen TV is a great advantage for those all-important sporting events throughout the year.

Whether it's that large family get together in one of our spacious areas, or simply a quiet drink in our open plan seating area, that all important business get together, you can be assured of a warm welcome to the 1843 Bar. The perfect place for an aperitif before or after a relaxed dinner in Elva Restaurant.
